So I must be the worlds laziest blogger. I usually always have an excuse and it's usually that I've been really busy and that's what I'm going with this time and it's true!!

I really have had a lot going on, my boyfriend and I celebrated ten years together by going to London for a short break and we had a great time!! We managed to squeeze so much into to four days! We visited the Natural History museum, the National Gallery, I had been wanting to take Tom there for years, he's an artist and it has one of the finest collections in the world, we spent hours there and needless to say we weren't disappointed !!

We also took in a west end show!! Didn't really think it would be my kinda thing but we saw posters for Rock of Ages and bought tickets on a whim. It was absolutely fantastic!! Lots of great rocks tunes and jokes and a brilliant set. I'd highly recommend it if you're in London!
We also found the mahoosive Forbidden Planet which we also spent a couple of hours browsing through, could have easily spent a fortune in the end we came away with replica Harry Potter wands :)
I got Sirius Black's and Tom got Dumbledore's.

We also visited Camden market. Wow, what a place it was like something out of Neverwhere. We thought we would only be there for a couple of hours but spent most of the day there, it was incredible. Every time we thought we had seen it all we turned another corner and there was more to it. I had been wanting to visit for years but it was even better than I had imagined.

You can see more photos from London on my Flickr page. I'm still working through them :)

You can also see some pictures that I took in Glasgow in August when the Hollywood Brad Pitt starring movie World War Z came to town. As a huge movie fan I thought this was one of the most exciting things to happen to Glasgow in a long time. I work just up the road so I popped down to the set on my break quite a few times over the two week period to try and catch some of the action.

It was so cool to see George Sq turned into downtown Philadelphia!! There was a real buzz on the set. And I managed to see a wee bit of filming being done although I never caught a glimpse of Brad. I'm really looking forward to the movie!! More pics here.

So I might have been too lazy to update my blog but I've been busy with my shop! I was lucky enough to be featured on the Alt Fashion web site!! It's one of my favourite magazines and I was delighted to be featured, go send them some love. I have had quite a bit of success with my shop lately and have gained over 230 fans on facebook now!! I sold enough teddies to buy myself a beautiful new bass guitar, it's silver and sparkly :)

I haven't even started to think about Christmas yet to be honest, I've had so much going on. My sister is getting married in a couple of weeks and I'm head bridesmaid and I'm just about to change jobs. I'm quite looking forward to the wedding, I've got a gorgeous lilac dress and grey feather stole to wear and Tom's gonna be looking handsome in a grey kilt! Job wise I've decided to leave John Lewis after eight and a half years to start in the Apple store. It's one of the toughest decisions I've ever had to make and I just hope it's the right one. I'm excited and terrified in equal measures. So I start my new job on the Monday and my sister gets married that Friday !! That's alot in one week!! So I think Christmas will be waiting till that's all done with :)

Think that's enough for one post. Maybe if I stopped being lazy I'll make them more frequent and shorter :D

Also thinking I might have to hold a wee giveaway for when I reach 300 FB fans, so tell all your
friends!!

Right back to making!

Soo Looooooonggg!

Ooh it's been a ridiculously long time since I've updated this blog, how very bad and lazy of me!!! I'm going to blame it on Christmas and just being too busy ;)

So now that Christmas is all done and dusted I guess I should be paying some attention to my two shops - Handmade By Zombies and J Flynn Photography.

I've been working on some new furry items which I'll be adding to the shop shortly and will hopefully be adding prints to my newly set up photography shop!!

I now have two new lenses for my camera, my lovely boyfriend Tom got me a 28-135mm zoom lens for Christmas and I have just purchased a 50mm prime lens. Here are some pictures taken with my new lenses :)

Here's another little furry guy that I finished just before Christmas -

I've finished another couple of items which I will be adding to the shop very soon :)

Here are two Etsy treasuries that I put together recently, there's some really lovely pieces in there!

Think that'll do for an overdue update! Don't forget to check out my fanpages if your on Facebook for regular updates!!

Hey,
So, I've been off from work alot recently, which has been good but annoying at the same time as I have fewer holidays left now :(

I've spent my time off quite wisely though ;) Was away in Manchester to see Peter Kay at the MEN arena. It was a great wee trip. We (Tom and I) traveled down the day before and stayed with Tom's old pal, Martin and his wife, Carolyne in Lancaster. Lancaster is a lovely wee, historical town. The next day we all traveled into Manchester and Tom and I wandered about the city centre for a bit. I took my camera with and got a couple of cool photos!

Manchester seems pretty nice, I'd like to go back for a little longer. After we all got some dinner in a restaurant called Old Orleans we headed to the MEN. Once we got there I slowly realised who Peter's support act was! It was Rick Astley!!!! RICK ASTLEY !  I loved him when I was about 5 years old and I got up to dance along to Never Gonna Give You Up, I never thought that I'd get to see Rick Astley live at 28 years old, I was very happy indeed. Peter's show was great and his encore was amazing, I won't say too much incase anyone is going to see him but he had everyone up and dancing. All in it was a great night.

Once we got back home to Scotland we headed over to the isle of Arran for the day. We got the ferry and as soon as we stepped off in Brodick the heavens opened. It was stoating down!! We were both thinking that we'd made the wrong choice taking a gamble on the weather, but headed into the local co-op for 15 mins and the skies brightened and the rain never came back, it was a glorious day.

We got the bus round to Whiting Bay to walk the Glenashdale Forrest trail. We headed up into the hills to find the Giants Grave which is the remains of a neolithic burial cairn, theres very little left now but you can still make out where some of the entrances were.

We then followed the trail round past the waterfall and and the remnants of an iron age fort. It was a great day and I must have taken about 200 photos, most of which I still have to edit :)
We also went over to Aberfoyle last saturday when it was amazingly hot!! We climbed up a big steep hill ( maybe not the best idea given the temperature !!) to see some amazing views. Nothing beats the views from up high, especially in scotland.

Aswell as all the trekking I've finished two new items for my shops, Meet Zoogi and Zeeko!!!
Zoogi
Zeeko

Both are available to buy from either
or

That's all for just now, might attempt my first folksy friday later if I have time ;)
